Pastries in the Park
For all of you who are staying a day longer, we are going to set up a casual hang in the park on Sunday morning. Stay tuned.
Our wedding is in Mill Valley, which is a beautiful little town 20 minutes north of San Francisco. Here are our travel recommendations:
We recommend flying into San Francisco International Airport (SFO)! It's a 35 minute drive to downtown Mill Valley and 20 minute drive to downtown SF. Oakland International Airport (OAK) is also nearby — it's a 45 minute drive to Mill Valley and a 30 minute drive to downtown SF.
The easiest way to get from SFO to downtown San Francisco would be to call an Uber, Lyft, or Taxi. There are also plenty of rental car companies that allow you to pick up and drop off at the airport. If you plan to book a rental car, make sure to check with your hotel for parking since downtown parking can be difficult. You can alternatively take the BART or Caltrain from SFO to downtown.
The easiest way to get from SFO to Mill Valley would be to call an Uber, Lyft, or Taxi. You can also take the Marin Airporter (an Airport shuttle service). There are plenty of rental car companies that allow you to pick up and drop off at the airport—if you book a rental car, parking in Mill Valley is easier than in San Francisco.
If you prefer to rent a car, it's definitely an option and will make it easier to explore—just know that if you're staying in San Francisco, parking can be tricky unless your accommodations offer parking. Parking in Mill Valley is easier. Near our venue there will be metered 2-hour parking that is free after 6:00 pm, but we recommend Ubering to the wedding so you don't have to worry about it!
We'd recommend staying near Mill Valley on Friday and Saturday as it's closest to the venue. There are also plenty of options for both hotels and AirBnBs in SF or surrounding towns! Here are a few of our recommendations:
Before or after the wedding, we'd love for you to explore the beautiful city that we call home.

For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!
Please RSVP by May 15th, so we can provide an accurate headcount to our vendors.
Check your invite for a plus 1!
As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception. Please reach out if you have questions!
In Mill Valley, August is typically warm with temperatures in the low 70s during the day, though it can cool down to the mid-50s in the evening. We recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap for after sunset, as our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside.
Yes! San Francisco is a vibrant, welcoming city. Just like in any other large city, use normal precautions like not leaving valuables visible in parked cars, and you'll have a great time exploring.
